2 EDUCATION WORKBOOK
It was agreed that a workbook would be developed by professionals and volunteers who are working in hospice programs . The workbook would include suggestions for reading, case studies drawn from the region and treatments available locally. The workbook will be developed by email communication. Each country will contribute its own material.

Dr Cynthia Goh also agreed to finalise the hospice curriculum developed at the Post-Conference Workshop in Singapore in 1996.

 

3 NEWSLETTER
It was agreed that the Asian Pacific Hospice Network newletter would not be produced at this time. Instead, all participants and those on the directory mailing list will be sent copies of hospice newsletters produced in the region. These newsletters contain interesting information about what is happening in the region.

 

4 WEBSITE
It was agreed that the possibility of the Asian Pacific Hospice Network being able to tag on to another website would be investigated:

5 JOINTRESEARCH
An enthusiastic committee was established to plan a joint research project.

6 TRAINING
